Key Responsibilities:

Inventory & Stock Control:

  • Receive parts and materials, verify against invoices and packing slips, and organize appropriately.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
  • Notify management of low or out-of-stock items and restock inventory as needed.
  • Pull, fill, and prepare orders from current inventory based on internal requests.

Shipping & Receiving:

  • Manage inbound and outbound shipments, including loading and unloading trucks.
  • Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and tracking of parts and materials.
  • Collaborate with vendors and carriers to resolve shipping discrepancies or delays.

Internal Customer Support:

  • Assist internal departments and remote locations with parts requests and order status.
  • Communicate effectively with the Parts Manager and team regarding inventory needs and updates.
  • Follow up on back-ordered items and ensure prompt replenishment of daily inventory.

Warehouse Operations:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse area.
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to work with inventory systems.
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory management is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of parts handling and warehouse safety protocols.
  • Excellent organizational and sequencing skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, both in-person and via phone.
  • Some experience with cash handling is a plus.
  • Must be available to work weekends as required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and lift.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, or move items weighing between 10–50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
  • Must be able to use hands to handle or feel objects, reach with arms, and talk or hear clearly.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Work environment may involve exposure to varying temperatures and moderate noise levels.
