We're looking for talented individuals to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of large - scale automotive repair facility management;
Knowledge of Business practices applicable to garage management;
3 – 5 years of management or supervisory experience;
Strong technical and communication skills;
Ability to work in and develop a team atmosphere;
Experience and understanding of working within a budget;
Strong knowledge of all types of diesel engines, automatic and manual transmissions, hydraulics, shop equipment and procedures, and welding and cutting;
Knowledge of preventative maintenance and repair programs for heavy duty equipment;
Excellent multitasking and organization skills.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Hiring, training, and development of mechanical staff
Management and monitoring of the equipment preventative maintenance schedule
Maintain efficient productivity levels
Ensuring shop stays in compliance with set budget
Oversight of satellite locations with a small hourly staff
Managing parts inventory
General maintenance and repairs on company trailers
Enforce & practice all company safety procedures to ensure a safe environment
Follow all D.O.T. and OSHA safety standards
