Johnson Controls Industrial Refrigeration North America manufactures and services industrial refrigeration systems globally, including CO2 cascade and ammonia components, screw and reciprocating compressor packages, ASME certified pressure vessels, heat exchangers, evaporators, condensers, and complete control systems. The Industrial Refrigeration Training Specialist will develop training material and deliver it to customers through presentations and training curriculums. This remote position requires travel across North America to collaborate with internal teams and deliver training courses to customers. Responsibilities include providing technical training on refrigeration products and best practices, developing and maintaining training curriculum and materials, managing training materials on the company learning management system, serving as a subject matter expert, and investigating new training opportunities. The role involves collaboration with internal experts, aligning training with product launches and business strategies, and maintaining knowledge of trends in learning design and sales enablement. Required qualifications include 5+ years of technical experience in Industrial Refrigeration Controls, Equipment, and/or system operation, strong computer skills, presentation skills, and ability to travel 25-50%. Preferred qualifications include strong connections with industrial refrigeration contractors in the US, advanced computer skills, and experience operating refrigeration systems in Cold Storage or Processing plants.
