Familiarity with kitchen equipment is equally important; this involves knowing the proper usage, maintenance, and safety protocols for tools ranging from knives to ovens. Continuous practice and education in both areas will enhance your culinary expertise and ensure a safe, efficient kitchen environment. Assist kitchen leadership and staff in execution of service. Maintain solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soups. Work as a team, assist all guest's needs and inquiries. Knowledgeable of weights, measures and various cooking techniques. Knowledge of knives and knife skills, standard kitchen equipment and supplies, including, but not limited to toasters, refrigerators, coolers, slicers, beverage machines, Cryovac machine and smallwares. Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations. Can work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays. Must be 18 years of age.
