Job Title: Sales & Estimator

We are currently seeking a charismatic, experienced, and results-driven Sales & Estimator to join the growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on relationship-building, teamwork, and excellence.
Position Summary:
The Sales & Estimator will be responsible for developing new business, managing client relationships, and preparing accurate estimates for residential repaints and new construction painting projects. The right candidate will have the ability to quickly grow a personal sales book to $2–3 million annually, while working closely with project managers and general contractors to ensure project success from pre-construction through close-out.
You will attend job walks, review plans, identify scope and pricing, and support project delivery by staying actively involved once a job is awarded. This role is not entry-level—experience in construction and paint estimating is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with builders, GCs, homeowners, and developers.
Accurately read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction plans to prepare detailed estimates for painting scopes.
Attend pre-bid meetings, site walks, and networking events to generate leads and represent the company brand.
Collaborate with project managers to track progress, identify potential issues proactively, and generate change orders or additional work orders when appropriate.
Serve as a client point-of-contact from estimate through project close-out, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
Follow up with GCs prior to job start to ensure all prerequisites (e.g., drywall, masking, weather conditions) are in place before painting begins.
Maintain an organized sales pipeline and report on activity, wins, and forecasted revenue.
Collaborate with a team of estimators and sales staff to share best practices, celebrate wins, and continuously improve.
Represent the company at industry networking events and community functions.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in painting, construction sales, or estimating (new construction or residential repaint).
Proven ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
Experience estimating and selling high-end residential or new construction painting projects .
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and jobsite coordination.
Charismatic, personable, and confident communicator who can relate to clients, GCs, project managers, and field crews alike.
Proactive problem-solver who can anticipate issues and work collaboratively to resolve them.
Highly organized with strong follow-through and time-management skills.
Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative sales team.
Must be comfortable being on jobsites, interacting with clients, and managing multiple priorities.
Sense of humor, positivity, and responsiveness are highly valued traits.
