Position Summary
We are seeking an Entry-Level Real Estate Financial Analyst to join our team in our Miami, FL office . This in-office role supports our nationwide brokerage platform by analyzing financial statements, occupancy reports, and market data to produce valuations, offering memorandums, and related client materials. This role is critical in supporting our nationwide team of associates with accurate asset valuations and insights.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in real estate finance, excels in financial modeling and data analysis, and is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze seller financials, occupancy data, and market information to project cash flows
  • Perform DCF and direct capitalization analyses for individual assets and portfolios
  • Conduct market rent surveys and gather comparable sales data
  • Build valuation models, charts, and tables to support presentations
  • Assist with the creation of BOVs, Offering Memorandums, and other collateral (InDesign experience a plus)
  • Collaborate in person with brokers and marketing staff in our Miami, FL office to bring deals to market

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of real estate finance terms and principles
  • Experience building DCF and capitalization models in Excel (coursework acceptable)
  • Proficiency in calculating IRR, ROI, GRM, and other financial metrics
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced MS Office skills (especially Excel); InDesign proficiency a plus
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects independently
