Job Title: Python Developer with RDK
Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite / Hybrid 3 days in office)
Job Type: Full-Time / Contract
We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with experience in RDK to support Comcast's RDKM and CI/CD development teams. The ideal candidate will have strong scripting skills, expertise in Linux environments, and experience with code management workflows, DevOps tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport development teams in resolving issues related to code managed in RDKCentral .
Understand CI/CD processes and workflows to assist internal and external teams effectively.
Work onsite in Philadelphia at least 3 days a week to collaborate with RDKM and development teams.
Develop and enhance tools used in DevOps workflows to support the Code Management team.
Write and refactor Python scripts in an embedded Linux environment.
Create and migrate Jenkins jobs using Jenkins pipelines.
Use Gerrit, GitHub, Jenkins, Yocto to triage and address CMFSupport requests.
Assist AWS System Administrator to preempt issues and address security concerns.
Support GitHub, Gerrit, Blackduck, and Coverity workflows as required.
Strong experience in Python scripting and Linux environments.
Knowledge of Git Flow, GitHub Actions, Gerrit , and code management processes.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines , Jenkins, and DevOps tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills .
