Program Manager ** For Immediate consideration please apply to this posting and email your resume to habels@actalentservices.com** Job Description The Program Manager will coordinate project tasks and engineering milestones to ensure deadlines are met within the agreed time frame and budget. This role involves managing project tasks for development projects, leading and coordinating technical scope with software, firmware, and electrical engineers. The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, budget, and in accordance with quality standards and procedures. Responsibilities + Coordinate project tasks and engineering milestones to meet deadlines. + Manage development project tasks, excluding build-to-print contract manufacturing. + Lead and coordinate technical scope with software, firmware, and electrical engineers. + Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and budget while adhering to quality standards. + Partner with engineers to discuss design and engineering choices for profitability and scheduled timelines. + Manage communication between subcontractors, internal partners, and customers. Essential Skills + 5+ years experience in Project Management, Program Management, or Project Engineering for Development and R&D projects. + Experience leading projects or programs with a technical scope, specifically partnering with software, firmware, and electrical engineers. + Direct experience managing budget, schedule, timelines for deliverables, and customer communication. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Preferred experience with government programs, especially in space and defense sectors. + Knowledge in space, aerospace, avionics systems, and defense aerospace. + Familiarity with AS9100 standards. Work Environment The work environment is a small site with office space, assembly, and lab areas located in a modest office building within a small business park. The company specializes in space avionics and sensor systems, serving commercial, space, and defense markets. The site is equipped to develop, manufacture, and test video systems integrated into satellites, rockets, spacecrafts, control systems for experiments and payloads, data management equipment, and sequencing systems for spacecraft ejection telemetry. The company has been instrumental in major space missions, including the Space Shuttle, the International Space Station, and NASA's Artemis program. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
