About Immerse Education

Immerse Education is launching an exciting new initiative within its online learning division and we are looking for a marketing manager to support its growth. The Institute of Interdisciplinary Research is a new online education venture, supported within the larger organisation but run with the independence and focus of a start-up. We're here to explore ways of delivering high-quality and prestigious learning to ambitious high-school students looking to get ahead on their university applications.

This is an ideal role for someone entrepreneurial who enjoys exposure to various parts of a business, and wants to gain professional start-up experience. That means you'll be involved in more than one area, whether that's shaping strategy or refining the user experience, from building partnerships to identifying new markets. It's a place for people who are comfortable with variety, can work things out as they go, and want to gain a wide variety of experience.

If you like the idea of helping to shape something new, but with the support of an established organisation and the freedom to work in a nimble, adaptable way, the Institute of Interdisciplinary Research is a perfect fit.

The Institute of Interdisciplinary Research is a part of Immerse Education, a trailblazer in the field of experiential learning, dedicated to revolutionising the educational landscape. Our mission is to empower students globally by providing them with immersive, real-world learning experiences that equip them with the skills and knowledge needed for success in their future careers and lives.

Brief

Immerse Education is launching an exciting new initiative within its online learning division, and we're looking for a dynamic and ambitious Online Marketing Manager to lead on its digital presence and student acquisition strategy. You will be part of a small, entrepreneurial team, building and executing digital marketing strategies from the ground up.

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and take ownership of everything from ideation to execution. You will lead on campaigns, and adapt quickly to evolving priorities. You will need to combine creativity, data driven decision making, and a willingness to experiment with new approaches to grow awareness and generate leads for a brand new venture. You will work closely with the Head of Online Programmes in an environment where your ideas and initiative will directly shape success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to drive awareness, lead generation, and enrolments for the new initiative.

  • Create content and campaigns across email, social media, and paid channels that resonate with target audiences. Maximise use of email marketing tools and platforms (e.g. Hubspot/Brevo)

  • Experiment with growth tactics (e.g., A/B testing, landing page optimisation, lead magnets) to achieve rapid, measurable results.

  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, using tools like Google Analytics and HubSpot, and adapt strategies to maximise ROI.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and freelancers (e.g. design, content, sales) to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across platforms. Manage website content and ensure it reflects brand ambitions.

  • Stay agile and proactive, changing campaigns and approaches based on data and feedback.

  • Research market trends, competitors, and audience insights to identify untapped marketing opportunities.

  • Contribute to shaping the marketing roadmap, identifying and prioritising the highest-impact initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

  • At least 2+ years of marketing experience with a strong grasp of digital channels.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, including SEO, PPC, social media, content creation, and email marketing.

  • Comfortable with analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar).

  • Creative problem solver, willing to test new ideas and iterate quickly.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Advantageous: Experience in start-ups or launching new products/brands, as well as familiarity with paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Paid Social).
  • Advantageous: Experience working within education

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to be part of a brand-new initiative within a well-established education company, with the autonomy and creative freedom of a start-up.

  • Direct line management and mentorship from the Head of Online Programmes.

  • Fully Remote

  • The chance to make a tangible impact on the growth of a new product line, from day one.

Benefits:

  • 25 days of annual leave
  • Additional days off for your birthday + work anniversary

We are committed to diversity and inclusion and encourage applications from all qualified candidates. Join us in shaping the future of education and driving transformative growth at Immerse Education.
