Job Description

We are looking for licensed, professional individuals skilled in deep tissue, hot stone, prenatal, lymphatic drainage massage, as well as relaxation techniques.
We LOVE advanced modalities! If you have experience with something new or an innovative technique, we welcome all (legal) massage modalities at the Sanctuary!

We are looking to fill multiple roles to complete our team! We have evening and weekend hours available; we have limited day shifts available at this time. We have hours starting immediately, but we are flexible with start dates.

Massage Therapist Duties and Responsibilities
A massage therapist is responsible for treating clients through soft tissue manipulation while maintaining a safe and relaxing experience. The therapist should be good at perceiving client wishes and needs through spoken language, body language and other cues and modifying their treatments accordingly.
Provide 30/60/90 minute massages to clients by appointment
Evaluate clients to determine painful or stressed areas of the body
Address problem areas, both client perceived and by your observations and knowledge during the treatment
Offer any upgrades to the client that may help with pain or relaxation, depending on the clients needs
Advise clients on stretching, strengthening or relaxation methods
Suggest future massage appointments and regime to clients
Listen to clients during appointments and adjust technique as they desire

Assist the spa support team with light housekeeping duties and laundry
Attend and participate in Sanctuary sponsored events, classes, and meetings
Have a great attitude & be fun to be around
Show up for your shifts and offer amazing and consistent services to the clients

Salary: $ 25.00 66.00 Per Hour
